At Searcy School of Dance, we strive to offer the highest quality of dance instruction in a wholesome and nurturing atmosphere. Our desire is to reach a balance of learning, discipline, creativity, and fun.

We believe individuality and self-confidence are important qualities to instill in children from a young age. That is why we do our best to make each child feel special and understand their value not only as a dancer, but as an individual.

Our way of thinking is inspired by the idea that everyone has unique qualities that make them who they are. Because of this, we feel it is important to find value in our God-given talents and encourage everyone to achieve their full potential.

In addition to mental and emotional health, dance also promotes physical fitness. It is a great way to improve balance, coordination, muscular strength, and overall wellness.

We hope SSD is a place for your child to grow their love for dance while building friendships that will last a lifetime!

About the Director

Kylie Snowden has been involved in the world of dance for 20 years. She started out at Searcy School of Dance as a preschooler taking tap and ballet when she was 4 years old and hasn't stopped dancing since.

As a Harding University graduate, she holds a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. She is also a certified instructor through the Southern Association of Dance Masters. Her love for athletics and art is put to use as she trains dancers and inspires them to be the best they can be both in and out of the studio.

Her experience includes teaching multiple styles of dance to children of all ages. She has worked with the competitive team, taken classes from world renowned instructors, and traveled throughout the US performing as a competitive dancer. She looks forward to a new chapter as owner and director of Searcy School of Dance.
